Hi Karren,
I had an experience some months ago that sort of forced my hand. I was having a Susan Day and had checked into my favorite motel en drab. Following my normal routine I had dressed and had gone to a nearby mall to look for some shoes. After shopping, I returned to the motel for a change of femme clothing and discovered that I had neglected to put the room key card in my purse. Everything else was there but no key card. What to do? Everything except what I did have I my purse was in the room. Looked for a cleaning lady but no luck.
I HAD NO ALTERNATIVE! I went to the office, told them I had locked my key in the room and asked for another. They asked for my driver’s license. They checked the name against the motel registration, returned my license, gave me a quizzical look and another room key.
I’ll not check into this motel en drab again. All I can say is GO FOR IT! Just as in shopping, all they really care about is your money. As far as anybody recognizing you, your femme appearance is totally different than your male look. And darn, that is good.
And while were talking of details, how about a detailed description of your “Change on the Fly” technique. Please include the preplanning activity as well as changing room techniques. I’m sure a lot of us would appreciate it. I done similar things, but I always feel very awkward. I need to smooth my routine.
You’re a dear,
Susan
