I wear shave my underarms and legs, and wear panties all of the time. I told my doctor that I CD and he was very cool with it. At the time I was taking herbals, and he said we would watch the blood tests for any liver problems.

After extensive laser treatments I'm basically smooth all over. I've figured that if anyone commented on it I would just say something like "I always hated being hairy and decided not to be," but nobody ever has. Unless it's my imagination, though, I think I've detected an occasional look of surprise.

The last time I painted my toenails I painted them red. Well, I removed the nail polish before going to a Dr. appointment at the VA. The red polish stained my nails pink and I was there to have a spot on my ankle checked for cancer. The nurse asked why my nails were so pink so I told her that my wife and I were playing around with polish and I didn't know that red would stain my nails pink. She said "y e s" smiled and said no more about it.

    annual physical

I just had a full physical for an insurance policy update and went with womans jeans and t-shirt with a bra on. I didn't think they were going to do as much as they did and when I had to get an EKG I think it was the nurse told me to strip down to my underwear and lay on the table. They hooked up 8 or 10 "leads to my chest, abdoman and legs and ran a graph of my heart. I had to remove my bra for this as one lead went under each boob and she wanted clear access. Oh well, I'll know next time. Thank God I had my favorite panties and a clean bra and top, I didn't have to do much at work that day and stayed pretty clean. She never said anything about my clothes, although I am certain she envied my panties and matching Victoria secret Bra.

I would think that if you are there to get checked for problems related to HRT, that they should expect that you might at least be underdressed. If not, they really have no idea what they are dealing with.

i have been going to the same female doc for 35 years and she dosent care she just does what needs to be done and goes on with the exam .
my heart doctor for the last six years has only made one comment , that was i guess you got tired of the nurses pulling your chest out , the nurses have said it makes it a lot easier with my hairless chest

I would rather tell one or two that I dont like being hairy than have to deal with being called hairy on a weekly basis.

I have been to a doctor while wearing a Bra and panties and they never said a word about it. I was real sick and they helped make me feel better which was their job not commenting on my underwear which I was wearing under slacks and a shirt and tie.

The last time I went to the Dr for a EKG, the girl told me I didn't have to take off my bra for a EKG. She could see the marks, as I took it off before I left home. And one time with the PA, She hd me take off my shirt. She told me she had a bra the same color and that I had a nice rack for a guy. Then she was suprised that it wasn't padded and it was all me....BJ

The last time I went to the VA for my annual checkup I wore panties under my drabs. My provider is a nurse practitioner and this time she informed me that I had to drop my pants for the prostate exam. I know she saw my panties but she never said a word about me weainng them. I think she's seen it all before so there was no big shock for her. I guess for her it was business as usual.

I have gone to four physicals over the years, with shaved legs, chest wearing pantys and nylons. I've had both male and female doctors,no one has said anything about how I was dressed. Most doctors have seen it all so this is not new to them. Just go in and relax, you'll do fine.

I go to alot of doctors for my medical conditions and none of them except my main family doctor know about my dressing. then the only thing he said was are you depressed or anything like that and i said no and nothing else was ever said again. Nothing was said about the anklet or the painted nails either. Not sure what was said after I left but they were all professional and had no funny looks nor comments. Im there for my medical problems not my lifestyle

A few days ago while at a dermatologist visit, I was asked to take off all of my clothes to check for any moles or signs of skin cancer. I was shaved from head to toe and I was not expecting to have to completely disrobe. All went well and no comments were made about my legs and bikini area being shaved. As others have said I would think most medical proffesionals are not going to make any type of comment about being shaved.

    It's about your health

I have been for physicals both recently leg-shaved and with several months of growth. My doctor may notice, but does not comment on it. Also, I am left alone to change into one of these close-at-the-back-almost smocks, before the exam, so if I was wearing female underwear (I don't for the visit) I could hide it under the rest of the pile, and neither the doctor nor the PA would be the wiser, except perhaps for the marks left by the underwire.

This is one case where I prefer not to confront people with my identity, even though I am sure that the doctor and her entire staff are more concerned with my health than my wardrobe.

You should have worn pantyhose (just kidding around)

The next time I go in for a doctors visit I'm going to have to make sure that I wear a good pair of panties, and bra. I want to see what happens, almost sounds fun.
