I like/chose Yulia because it's different and my ancestry is mostly Russian and Yulia is just the Russian version of Julia :)

MsLana
01-18-2015, 08:49 PM
My name is Lana .Pronounced Lan(like man) a..not LAHna. How'd I come up with that name?? Who knows...??..I chose it and that's what I go by when dressed....

JessicaFoxx
01-18-2015, 08:52 PM
i chose Jessica Foxx because I always like the name Jessica and Foxx (as in the animal Fox just an extra "X") because Foxes are sly creatures.

Mary Poppins
01-19-2015, 11:27 PM
I picked Dame Victoria because it is reminiscent of my grandma who was stately and was always had great outfits.

Cassie.
01-20-2015, 02:36 PM
I picked Cassie as its a name I've always loved and for some reason it just felt like it was a perfect fit for my female name.

melyssadawn

MelyssaDawn.......always liked Melyssa , shorten it to Mel, Issy dependent on mood and Dawn......well it was the dawn of a new part of my life , thats it .

Stephanie_CD_64
01-21-2015, 03:01 PM
I chose my name because it is the feminine form of my male name. Since Stephanie is the female form of me, I figured the name was fitting.

Michelle_G
01-22-2015, 07:39 PM
I originally chose Tia Lisa, but decided to change to Michelle ,the feminine form of my name.

CD_Princess1234
01-23-2015, 10:20 AM
I originally chose Tia Lisa, but decided to change to Michelle ,the feminine form of my name.

I had a few but Rachael became very comfortable to me

JimmiLynn
01-23-2015, 04:14 PM
I changed to a feminine version of my first name, and I dropped the first syllable of my middle name then feminized what was left of my middle name, thus Jimmi Lynn...
Didn't care for the name my Mom would have given me if I had been born a girl, So this way if they ever find out that I dress they wouldn't feel like they totally lost me ...
The other name I really like is Amelia Katherine. I like the sound of it, Amelia K or Amy for short.. Still gonna hang onto that one just in case I change MY MIND....

melaknee
01-26-2015, 07:58 PM

Riddhima.mehra
01-28-2015, 03:08 AM
My fem name was earlier 'Upasana'; which was the name of the girl I liked.
I changed it to 'Riddhima'; & my short name is 'Ridz'. This was based on the name of an actress that appeared in a TV show.

NaNook
01-28-2015, 03:32 AM

Ms.Kenadie
01-28-2015, 02:50 PM
Registered once, years ago right after a divorce. I purged and it has been awhile.
My name is Kenadie Marie.
SO glad to be back ;)

juliecd1
01-29-2015, 08:25 PM
My name is Julie, maybe because I saw Julie Andrews in the Sound of Music when I was 12 and thought she was beautiful. I have tried others but this one just feels right.

Victoria Demeanor
02-01-2015, 11:52 AM
When I first left home and went to college Victoria was my first girl friend. I was barely 18 and she was 21, a big difference back then. For me it was puppy love and for her, well she was just looking for fun. She pretty much ripped my heart out and stopped all over it. Yes I was devastated at the time, but over the years could forgive her and I understand she didn’t do it on purpose, I read much more into our relationship then she did. I look back on this with fondness and a life lesson learned.
When I gave into dressing I feel like the name Victoria chose me. I kind of took it as a loving honor, but I love the name and I kind of feels like the name fit me and I look like a Victoria.

Ok if you haven’t caught it the last name is from my corky sense of humor. I really wanted to be Miss Demeanor. I would use my real last name in most cases when interacting, but I couldn’t resist.

Lilly.
02-01-2015, 12:58 PM
My name is Lilly. I just thought it was pretty.

02-01-2015, 01:54 PM
I originally went by Jasmine..but I was never really 100% satisfied with it but it just stuck.
Then when I came out to my wife she said she didn't really like Jasmine and it didn't really suit me.
We were in the final few weeks before our daughter was born and we had a baby names book.
I suggested we each go through he book separately and write down the names we liked.
We did that and we arrived at a list of about 6 names the same on our lists.
Through process of elimination we arrived a Natasha.

We both liked it very much.

Jill Mansfield
02-02-2015, 05:09 PM
I chose Jill because I understand it means girl, and I think it is a pretty name.

Violet-13
02-02-2015, 05:24 PM
Violet LeFey, I like the color purple and my girlfriend came up with the LeFey part

Meghan4now
02-04-2015, 03:51 PM
Uh... We'll I never really had a fem name but was kicking around ideas. Meghan was a popular name about 13 years after I was born. That's when I was actually cognizant of active exploration in the closet of course. Plus the name starts with the same letter as my given name. So anyway I signed up for a transformation service and Amie (that's right) asked for my fem name and that's what came out of my mouth. But I would love to know what my parents would have named me if I were born with the other equipment. I'd probably switch in an instant.

Terrieann
02-04-2015, 10:35 PM
First post. My name is a combination of two women who meant a lot to me. Teresa from grade school who stood up for me when I was bullied in grade school and Anne Sexton whose poetry kept me from suicide, ironically

DeeNile
02-04-2015, 11:33 PM
I have never been given or considered taking a female name. I am still me, lace and all! I guess I need to give it some more thought, but for now I settled on Dee, but that's more of a screen name to me than a name I would go by.

vickie1952
02-05-2015, 01:45 AM
My name was going to be Linda because I thought Linda Thorson from the Avengers was very sexy and gorgeous. Since she was on TV years ago i now like my current name of Vickie.

Alambi
02-05-2015, 07:45 PM
My name came from a youtube channel who had a host called Alamby. I really liked the name and thought it sounded cute :) I changed the y to i because they sound the same in dutch,

jessicabf
02-06-2015, 01:06 PM
Jessica. My wife gave it to me. She enjoys both sides of who I am.

lindacambiada
02-06-2015, 08:13 PM
I too am named after a girl I admired in elementary school. (Thank you, Linda Ribera, for always being there when you were needed. Women and girls are so amazingly warm to all the clueless and careless men and boys in the world. ) Linda means beautiful in Spanish. I stuck with the Spanish for the last name. Cambiada means changed. It sounds slightly exotic to my ears. When I want to be more down to earth, I'm Eve Morgan, a waspy little ingenue.

Brandii
02-07-2015, 03:49 AM
I chose the name Brandi because I liked it. Used it on stage a few times.

sonja hems
02-07-2015, 06:15 AM
I picked my name many years ago as I liked the sound of it and I thought it suited me. I have never used another name as I felt the one I picked was really nice and easy to slip into when in girl mode.

Sonja

43inmaine
02-07-2015, 12:30 PM
I chose the name samantha. It wasn't hard to pick. It just seemed to pick me.

JossMackenzie
02-08-2015, 10:57 AM
I wanted a more unisex name. After looking at lists I'd narrowed it down to Mackenzie, Jocelynn (two N's, cuz I gots to be different), and a few others. My wife didn't care for Mackenzie all that much, but seemed to think Jocelynn fit. It's really nice, though, because Jocelynn shortens to Joss, which when said out loud is very much like my given name :D She can call me Joss in public or around the kids and no one notices.

WhitneyCD
02-09-2015, 10:30 PM
Hi all, I'm new here so what better way to introduce myself. My name is Whitney Colossus. I chose Whitney because that was the name of a girl I used to pick on back in school, at the time not realizing the reason was more jealousy than peer pressure. The last name, Colossus, is from my overwhelming desire to have very large breasts.
In the past, I have also gone by Jerrica, my first feminine identity I took from an iHop waitress because I thought she was beautiful, and Crystal, a name a chose from a list of "****tiest names" because I was going through an identity crisis and wanted the most attention whether good or bad.

GinaFox
02-10-2015, 01:25 AM
I'm another newby, so my femme name is a good place to start. I like the feminine sound of Gina, and it happens to match my male first initial. Fox may seem obvious, but not really. My male surname is also an animal. How nice to be a creature named twice.

MakeupRox
02-10-2015, 08:00 AM
I have been thinking about this for quite some time now. I've settled on Miranda.
Of course with my 'screen name' being makeupRox, I also get Roxy a lot too. But for my personal female name it will be Miranda.

This was with the help and input of my girlfriend, she too will have an alias, Doninique. What fun, especially when we go out!

pamela7
02-10-2015, 10:57 AM
I've kind of pondered if I'm revealing too much by talking about where my "name" came from.

Pamela comes from Edmund Spenser's "the faery queen", meaning pan-mela - "all honey" - kind of a queen bee metaphor. but that's the after-thought, the conception was it was a name used for a project, and then a password (no longer), and i just needed a name to go under for this forum, and out it popped. No real thought or choice really. The "7", I had to add something to get the name accepted, and, so that led me to "Pamela White" (7-Snow etc).

I don't automatically react yet when someone says "Pamela", that's going to take some time I feel, but hey I feel the universe gave me the name.

FeliciaMCD
02-10-2015, 03:18 PM
Well, guess it's time to post about my "name"

I started thinking about names first in high school about 12-13 years back. I wanted something that was not close to anyone I knew. I figured if I picked the name of someone I knew it could get awkward. That ruled out a lot. I did settle, for a while, or "Tasha." I did know a Natasha in high school, but we were only "in class" friends, so I didn't think it hit too close to home.

After a while I kind of wore that one out and started using Felicia. Unfortunately for me I met a Felicia a few years later and she turned out to be really obnoxious... but I stuck with the name. There's a character on a video game called Felicia, and I liked it.

I'm now thinking about something else, though. The other day my wife decided to "pick out a name" for me and she came up with Julia. Julia is a character I like from a Japanese anime (Cowboy Bebop) and I love the fact that my wife picked it out... even if she was a little bit buzzed at the time.

So now I'm stuck between Felicia and Julia.

Vinni
02-10-2015, 09:23 PM
I decided to keep my name close to my birth name. I'm sure there is no mystery to my male name. :)

JeanetteX
02-11-2015, 07:22 AM
I chose Jeanette because it was the name of the first girl I really fell in love with. I was only 16 years old and it happened while I was on holiday with my family in Central France. It was just a short lived summer love but I have never forgotten about her. Besides...I think French names sound so cute and sexy!!

detty
02-13-2015, 02:16 PM
My name Detty is the short form for Bernadette. I chose the name, because the consonants are similar to the consonants of my male name. I use the short version with my true family name together, because they sound together very nice: Detty Berta.

I do not like the usual invented crossdresser surnames like Luv or Heels or Femme. I think with a little creative thinking, and after having already chosen a first name, an appropriate surname can be invented even if you do not want to use your male family name.

Jessie James
02-14-2015, 03:48 AM
Originally I had tried to covertly ask my dad what him and my mom would have named me had I been born a girl. Unfortunately, he had said that they didn't really have any names thought up at the time or if they had, he couldn't remember them. *sigh* I then tried coming up with a name on my own, I settled on Alice. That worked for a little while, but I didn't really feel like an Alice. In the end, I decided to use a feminine version of my male nickname. Thus Jessie was born.

Jessie~☆

02-15-2015, 05:52 PM
My one grandmother was named Catherine and the other Lynn, so I made Katelyn. Better than Lynnkate, I guess right? :)

Maija Stone
02-16-2015, 01:28 AM
I chose the name Maija because I liked the sound of the name and the spelling of Maija is somewhat unique.

marilyn m
02-19-2015, 06:24 PM
i chose marilyn as i adore the queen of glamour marilyn monroe
her picture is everywhere in my house,

Rachel:3
02-20-2015, 02:49 PM
I chose Rachel because it's the name of a cute girl in my class :3, ironically she's a tomboy. Plus it's a name I really like.

SmileS12
02-21-2015, 07:15 AM
I chose my name Trudy Evonne, because I asked my mother, what was my chosen name had I been born as expected with correct physical features. My Mom told me it was Trudy Evonne. I've used it every since. Some folks here in the area only call me that name no matter what attire I am in, and it is funny how I turn my head just as if it were meant to be, and I like to think that it was.

Toodles,
Trudy Evonne

Amanda M
02-21-2015, 07:40 AM
It's all my wife's fault -actually her genius!

Angela Marie
02-21-2015, 01:42 PM
My grandmothers name was Angelina. I preferred Angela.

Khora
02-21-2015, 04:58 PM
I went through a few names, but none ever felt like they fit. Eventually I came up with Kristina Munroe. Kristina is the female variation on my middle name and it's always appealed to me. Munroe came from a female friend of mine and for some reason I put them together and loved how it sounded. So there ya have it! :D

Jorja
02-21-2015, 07:30 PM
I can't remember if I ever posted to this thread or not and I am not going to search all 72 pages. My mother passed away when I was 6 years old. She had wanted to name me Georgia if I was a girl but she loved the spelling Jorja. It was different. So to honor her wishes, Jorja it is.

Sally Seitnap
02-22-2015, 06:10 AM
I'm the youngest of three boys and I know my mother was hoping for a girl. When I was quite young she would pretend I was her daughter and call me Suzie or Sally I can't remember which. She made me dress up like a girl when I was 5 and gave me permission when I asked if I could wear panties under my dress. Sally it is. Sally Seitnap.

Hannah Adams
02-22-2015, 10:44 AM
I just love classic old names, pretty simple

yaeri
02-22-2015, 10:45 AM
Kaylee would be mine. Always thought it was a cute name and how i always connected my self with the character from Firefly.
Cute but technical.

Lenore would of been my main choice, But i want to reserve that for my future daughter.

JessicaMann
02-23-2015, 08:27 PM
The name Jessica just sang to me, almost hypnotizing me! I never even gave it a second thought!

natalie james
02-24-2015, 04:29 AM
I still use Natalie on the net, but still have no idea what I'll use when I transition.

Jaquee
02-27-2015, 12:06 PM
Mine came from trying to keep some of the letters of my male name, although it no where near and only contains 2 letters, but the spelling is nod to some french ancestry.

Ann Louise
02-28-2015, 12:40 AM
My grandparents names are now my first and middle names. I loved them so much that I wanted their memories to endure, at least in my heart, for just a bit longer.

Anna Stouf
02-28-2015, 02:11 PM
Somehow I just know my name is Anna. I'm not sure why, it just is. For this year (2015) it is one of the top ten most popular female given names in Germany (it's popular other places too) but I don't think that's why I am Anna. I think it is much deeper than that.

carri
02-28-2015, 10:23 PM
I actually kept my given name, but I go by a fem. nickname that I saw when I had been discussing it with my wife so I go by carri(car-ee)

sabby
03-01-2015, 05:31 AM
Named it after the first girl I was crazy about :3

Nolwenn Elizabeth
03-01-2015, 07:12 PM
I chose Dawn Michelle because I would have been named Michelle if I was born a girl and Dawn is the name of the character with the prettiest hair I've ever seen.

(The actress' name is Michelle, BTW :))

I changed it to Nolwenn Elizabeth because Nolwenn is the neatest, coolest name I've ever heard. Elizabeth just seems to fit with it. Winnie for short.

Jenniferbabe
03-02-2015, 02:33 PM
My wife's name. I figure if she ever found out I was on this site it she would be more understanding.

Christi
03-04-2015, 10:01 PM
I have a friend and her name is Christy which I liked, so I went with Christi for a little twist…This post caused me thinking about the time I chose Christi…WOW…been years and Christi seems normal now…
As side not, I really didn't want to go with Paula, Pauline, or something added to my given name...

GypsyGirl10
03-07-2015, 10:12 AM
I chose Gypsy for this site because I played a gypsy girl in a grade school play and secretly loved the flowing dress my mom made for it. I was about 8 or 9 years old and this was my second acting part in a dress. It was a all-boys school so boys played the female parts too. :heehee: My mom made this calf-length flowing skirt to go with the head scarf and blouse. She put full makeup on me too, and my sister helped. I loved to twirl and feel the skirt fly out. My brothers teased me but I loved this chance to dress up.

I also had a relative named Gypsy. She was fun and different and we always loved visiting her. I also think of a gypsy as someone with a varied life journey, lots of experiences and not always living by larger society's dictates. All of that is certainly me. :)

Lea
03-07-2015, 01:54 PM
Mine is my wife's initials.

rah
03-08-2015, 10:26 AM
My username for this site i.e "rah" it were just a random letters that I typed to choose as my username here. Idk if I need a female name or not but if I ever have one it would be it. I don't know what it means but it just seems right for my feminine side.

Patty Phose
03-09-2015, 05:43 AM
A girl in college gave me the name I used to dress up a lot then for parties. She told me I needed a name to put on a name tag. I was drawing a blank. I told her to think of something. It would be OK with me. She thought since I always wore short dresses with really nice pantyhose, she would name me Panty Hose. That was OK with me but then she kind of thought it out some more and it became Patty Phose.

Dannigirl
03-10-2015, 06:54 AM
I am the youngest - one of my sisters before me was supposed to be a boy so they were going to call her Daniel. But that didn't happen and they didn't call her Danielle because my mom wanted to name her after another relative. I came along unexpectedly and I was supposed to be a girl - go figure !! So this time my mom got her wish and named me Daniel. I really like the name Dannicka (or Danica, Danicka) and I thought Danni Minogue was gorgeous so I picked Dannicka or Danni for short and it is so close to my real name I don't have to think too much if somebody asks me what my girl name is.

Jennifer0874
03-11-2015, 10:18 PM
I have a close female friend who I admire. If God had put me on this earth as a woman she embodies everything I would want to be. Beautiful, smart, funny, successful.

JasmeVee
03-12-2015, 03:36 PM
The name jasme actually came about from a typing error that was printed on a letter to me. Its what happens when the name james gets messed up in a good way lol. The bonus for me is i hate being called james (long story) but when someone calls me jasme i want to hug them 😄
Hugs jasme

Natalie cupcake
03-12-2015, 10:27 PM
My name Natalie came from a friend the first time I dressed up for Halloween. I liked it so it stuck.

pantynlace
03-12-2015, 10:41 PM
My name is Marti, it has always been my real name. My proper name is Martin, but I have always been called Marti since I can remember, I took the y off and changed it to I and have used that spelling for many years.

Karolyn
03-12-2015, 10:53 PM
I always loved the name Caroline in French (pronounced Kah-ro-leen). Since I am very young, I loved that character in the Little House in the Prairie, the mother who is very soft and graceful. I always thought I would give that name to my first daughter if had one.

Since I now live in the US, I didn't like the pronounciation of the end of the name, so I changed the spelling to Carolyn. But I was loosing my current initials, and the letter C is the initial of my brother, so that is how I reached the current spelling, Karolyn. I also checked the origin of that name, and it is from Germany, where it is written with K in the first place.

GenieGirl
03-12-2015, 10:54 PM
I chose Geniegirl since I think of genies of granting wishes.....as magic and to transform to a girl as magical so it fit for me. People that know me as agirl formally know me as Ginger which I took from an exgf of mine who was very brief and boring but I liked her name.....what my name will officially be when I transition is a secret to most but I have and it fits me perfectly. It is pretty, exotic but simple and is the perfect name for a cute lesbian woman. I will let you know once it becomes official :P for now just call me Ginger :)

Dana44
03-13-2015, 12:26 AM
I used the same four character of my male name only had to change one letter a v to an n. I liked the name Dana so it fits me well.

Alvie
03-13-2015, 11:58 AM
I chose Alvie.. A variation of my Moms first name. Quite fitting as my first experiences were with her bras ,panties and lipstick, I always seemed to be dressed up as girls for Halloween as well.. Kind of Ironic looking back.. Always loved the taste and texture of lipstick.. :-) Girls have all the sexy stuff.. :-)

Love Dove

SamanthaDarling120
03-13-2015, 11:42 PM
Samantha. I think its pretty. Its my girlfriends name but used it before I got with her. I used to go with Ashley. They just sound so feminine. I love those names I also like Amanda. I've used that too.

Sindyca
03-15-2015, 03:02 PM
My wife called me Cyndi

Mia001
03-15-2015, 04:25 PM
Hi, I was planning to go out and knew I would need a fem name for this although I was really unsure about the whole fem name thing as I feel I'm still me when I dress and it felt a bit strange using a different name.

One of my friends suggested Mia and I liked it straight off as it still has "Me" in it (sort of). I ran it past one of my other friends and she said the same thing so that sold it. I waited a week to get used to ti and then started setting up a Facebook account etc and changed my name on here from my male name.

Jeanettew
03-15-2015, 06:29 PM
Hi I am Jeanette, although very new to crossdressing and learning as i go, i when choosing my name thought hard about it and picked a person i knew who i think is a stunning amazing lady

Briwags
03-15-2015, 08:40 PM
I use Briana. I had an ex with that name and she is the only female that i have ever dressed up in front of. Plus i love it and a couple of my friends say i look like a briana.

SandraB
03-16-2015, 04:10 PM
Initially I was going to use a feminine version of my given name, but read some arguments on some internet forums against this. So, at the same time the Lou Bega song Mambo # 5 was going through my head. I went down through the names in the lyrics and I liked Sandra. Also I knew a Sandra from my younger days who had a figure and style I greatly admired that remains vivid to me today. So Sandra it is.

Raquel Maire
03-16-2015, 06:43 PM
My name was chosen because my mom told me if I were a girl Raquel would have been my name. The Maire is Marie changed letter to make it easier for me to get access did no want fifteen thousand numbers behind it. Raquel Marie is who I am and I love it!!!!!

abby dahn
03-16-2015, 07:22 PM
I like the name abby so i go by it

Alice K
03-17-2015, 08:09 PM
Alice was who I dreamed I would become when I was early pre-teen and realized that I was going to grow up to be a man. The dreams must have been a way to cope with that difficult realization. How the name entered my dreams/subconscious probably from Alice the Goon on early Popeye cartoons. :heehee:

cardsgirl6
03-19-2015, 12:11 AM
Holly. I don't know why, I just always loved that name.

Sweet Paulina
03-19-2015, 10:13 AM
I liked the supermodels named Paulina
It was what I wished I could have been
Long, lean legs, a confident strut
Pounding the runway in my fierce clothes and makeup

Christy Diane
03-19-2015, 02:14 PM
I just changed my name today. I've always went by Christy Starr. Christy is based upon my boy name (Chris)
And Starr from Brenda Starr the comic strip (in high school I loved looking at reprints of classic comics from the 30's and 40's, yes I'm a geek)
I've decided to change to Christy Diane. Diane was the name my mother had picked out if I had been born a GG, so it seems appropriate.

i used to go by teresa cheryl, but my wife felt it was to long so she shortened it to cheryl. the reeves comes from my great granpa. my male name is a girls name made to fit a boy for my mom was wanting a girl.

My name is Jessikha. I always just loved the name Jessica when i was little but it is quite a popular and common name so i tried to make my own name as unique as possible which explains the quirky uncommon spelling. i really like it though and i think it suits me so well.

Hope you all like my name :) xxx

When I signed on here and they wanted my user name i didn't know what to call myself. My gf who likes to dress me up and who has helped me realize how much I like dressing up always just called me her "little girl." (I loved it)
So when I was asked for a name I didn't have one.
I thought of the early days of my erotic experience. There was a girl named Denise on the next block. She was the first girl who turned me on - when we were 11 to twelve. so I nameed myself after her.
Thanks ,
Denise Mary

Francine Matilda is just a play of my first and middle name. Last name is a tribute to music teacher who cross dressed. Yes somewhat of inspiration for young Francine.

Candee
03-27-2015, 05:28 PM
I chose Candee as it's what people assume is my nickname when I tell them my first name. I'm ok with it, but I may ask my gf if she has any names in mind when I cd....hmmmm

Some days back I decided against keeping Iris as my 'female name', for the same reason why I adopted it (the namesake song) except in the opposite direction; I just found it a wee bit awkward. It seems a notable privilege, however, that we have a choice with this kind of matters.

I was really young and into all the little social network generator things so decided to put my guy name in and it gave me the name Nikki. I went with it since I didn't know how to come up with a name for myself I was still in the undies only phase and eventually after years of dressing built a persona for myself as a girl and gave myself the name Genesis. Idk why but for some reason I just feel like a girl named Genesis would be hot. Like I guess my dream girl haha I've never met one but a guy can imagine right? Anyways I decided to give myself the name and it happened to bring out a bit of a character change with it! I like it :)

A really close friend of mine who ive known forever actually gave me my name. Me and her were watching a sad movie and she was crying and noticed I was too. She made the comment that you're almost as girly as me, I said if you only knew the half of that. And then she asked me....what do you mean? I broke down and told her about my crossdressing and how good it made me feel and so on. She just had a huge smile on her face and she hugged me and said we're going to have so much fun. Then she said so what do you call yourself when your dressed as girl? I told her I hadn't thought of a name. She said you look like an amber. And ive always loved the name Lynn. So that's how I got my name 😊

I had to think long and hard about my name as I fell in love with many names over the years. My deciding point was Samantha has variations to it that could be male or female. Sam & Sammie (Sammy) can be a males name or a female and this way while out with friends, if they "accidentally" call me Sam or Sammie like most people do when they talk to me, if I would happen to be as a male at the moment, nobody would know any different. I know it can sound complicated, but I do have some friends that only know me as Sam or Sammie, whether I am out and about as a female or not. To this point, it has worked perfectly. It also is a huge help that I LOVE the name Samantha. It was my all time favorite girls name growing up.

I also loved Becky but I chose Ashley for no clear reasons to tell in words but it was sort of an impulse that moved me to it. I love it and feel i really fit into it when i am in my female mode.

Up until the last few days I didn't really have a name for my female self. I'd been using Bobby/Bobbie as a place holder until I found one as I use Bob as a Pseudonym when posting on sites as a male.

That said I was reading a novel earlier this week and the Heroines name and character really stood out to me so from now on my female self is Maxine.

04-02-2015, 02:02 PM
I have been Suzanne, when dressed up, since I was in my late teens. I used to have a very dear female friend who knew of my secret. We used to spend hours together, her dressing me up. We loved each other's company, we were good friends and she gave me her middle name, Suzanne. When she moved away with her parents, I kept the name. Never saw or heard from her again, she was so sweet, never once ridiculed me. It was the nearest I ever got to going out as Suzanne too. Something I have no interest in at all now.

Well, my Mom wanted to name me Ginny Beth if I was a girl, and I kinda like that, but I have used Brandi on a few systems and I used it when I did some stage shows (FI) in the 90s. So here I am. I actually still have an account here with that name, but I lost the password and started this account because I was too lazy to go through the hassle of password resets and all. So.... here I am as Brandii

Bridget Ann Gilbert
04-04-2015, 12:24 AM
I originally chose Bridget Gilbert because it contained the starting phonics of my legal name. I wanted to be sure that I or my friends could catch ourselves if asked unexpectedly. I've changed my last name a few times. First was Monet, but I discovered there was a porn star by that particular combination. Ick! I tried MacPhearson in honor of my Scottish heritage, but these days it just feels right to go back to being Ms.Gilbert. The middle name is a recent addition. I was unexpectedly asked for one when registering for another web site, and Ann had just the right ring.

UPDATE: I recently discovered my femme name has the same meaning in Celtic as my male name. I guess this means I am the same person no matter which gender I express.

My born name is Lucas, which, means "Bringer of Light" and is Latin. Very fitting if I say so myself and most people, if asked, would tell you that I am a very kind and loving person.

I think my female name would be Lucy, as it also means "Bringer of Light" and is Latin.

Funny, now that I think of it, even under my birth assigned sex as male I look like a "Lucy".

eveline
04-06-2015, 06:22 PM
Well, in my case, I always liked the name Eve, also for me means a rebirth, as someone I want to be. The line of (eveline), is just because I feel more complete with Eveline than just Eve.

Sylvia Styles

Hello girls! First time here! Not sure where "Sylvia" came from but it's fitting I think!! (: and I love clothes, shoes and fashion(who doesn't hehe) so "Styles" makes sense too!! I love being Sylvia (:

Haven't really got a female name.... Though many have said my real name suit me, I guess I can see that lol "Jesse" is a boys and girls name minus the "I" I do like my name though, my full names Jesse James, had dad got his way I would of been a Simon lol glad mum got in there first

CarlyJ
04-12-2015, 08:11 AM
In choosing my fem name, I looked for a public figure who exhibited many of the traits that I aspire to. When I first read about Carly Fiorina(sp?), she was the CEO of Hewlett Packard. She was pretty, smart, a leader, and willing to take on new challenges. I also liked the name, "Carly", because it just felt right.

Sissy Jane

I picked my first name forty or so years ago and don't remember why but I really think it fits me. When preparing for my name and gender change I decided to change my last name too as it would leave one less reminder of my former identity. Search the web for popular last names and contemplated several last names and asked did they fit well with Karen but nothing suited me. Then a memory came back from a comment a student (I teach empty hand self-defense) said, "he is a giver of pain", that rolled into Payne.

Over the months following my name change I received several compliments which made me happy in that I made a good choice for both first and last names. I did have a middle name and decided to not have one for my new identity.

AbigailJordan
04-21-2015, 12:27 PM
Well, when I first started exploring my dressing fully (was in a long term relationship that prevented it until I was 31), I decided to go blonde rather than brunette (more fun right girls??) at the time I knew two abigails. One was extremely fake in everything she did, the other was the very stereotype of a blonde. Very sweet girl and very accepting of her own limited view of the world.. and I figured blonde one one hand.. fake on the other.. Abigail just seemed to fit (though most people just call me Abi).

The Jordan part was added after the death of my favourite author Robert Jordan as a continual memorial to his work.

I went through an online girls baby name site A to Z picked out a large list of names.
Took a picture of me dressed, made multiple copies of the picture each with a different name in text added to it.
I really needed to see the name with the picture to finally weed it down.
Could have done the girl version of my male name but I didn't like it so much, plus I feel that's kinda clichéd.

JennykBailey
05-05-2015, 02:12 PM
My adoption of a female name stemmed from conversations with my wife whilst shopping. We would talk openly about 'Aunty Patricia" when looking at clothes for me. When I decided to join a social network for crossdressers I decided I wanted to use a proper name. I chose Jenny from one of those personalised coke bottles, but was stumped for a surname. My wife suggested using the name of my favourite photographer. This was a double barrelled, and didn't suit me, so I chose my second favourite, hence Jenny Bailey was launched onto the world albeit in a quiet manner.

ShayLeigh Dominique
05-10-2015, 01:36 AM
When I was younger I was always partial to "Lisa Dominique" as a girls First and Middle names, possibly for some future possible daughter as I was blissfully ignorant of the gender spectrum (pre-puberty we are all asexual, are we not?). I have only recently come to question my place on that spectrum, not because I was comfortable with where I was previously (I always felt "alien" and "uncomfortable in my own skin"), but because I have finally found the strength and courage to truly question the status quo and take the first few steps into a new and wider world.
I am not certain how long I will stay on this path. Like the reality in which I am currently trapped, I will always be a being of two worlds; part of both, yet belonging to neither. I am enheartened by all the lovely ladies here, and by the stories which brought you here. Will I perpetually feel a fraud, no matter which path I choose?

Oh, I did some research and found that "Dominique" means "Lord" or as it is the feminine of "Dominic" more correctly "Lady."
"Lisa" didn't fit femme me (she/I just didn't take to it for some reason). Looking through female baby names for exotic and unusual names I found "Shayleigh," which is Irish in origin and means "Fairy Princess." Femme me has as wicked a sense of irony and pun-ishment as male me... :TamaraCroft:

26May15: ShayLeigh has a face...

29Aug15: In a conversation with my mother, I asked her what she would have named me had I been a girl... She said "Aubrey Shay"... The "Shay" is echoed in "ShayLeigh", so I added "Aubrey". My full name is now "Aubrey ShayLeigh Dominique Margis". On a lark, because I am just that kind of person, I looked up the meaning of "Aubrey"... It is genderless, but used more as a feminine name in the U.S. It means "Ruler of the little people". So all of my names mean, in total, "Lady Margis, Fairy Princess and Ruler of the Pixies." It pleases me, and is so very fitting.

After 3 or 4 names, I still had not found one I liked. "Kristin" was on a list i would rate by number, and after numerous self-pollings, in all manner of states of mind, "Kristin" came up as #1, so i figured I liked it best. A number of people named Kristin were part of the reason, not the least of which was Kristy McNichol, of teen infatuation fame... (I actually met her a couple of years ago, oddly enough. It was very low key, just chit chat, but she was quite personable and still cute as hell, IMO).
Plus, my wife's name starts with a "K", and i love her name.
"Stephanie" was the same for the middle name. I've since been not as enamored of it, but it's there. Steven was the name of my miscarried older brother, so evidently it could have been my name, if that's how it works. it was a play to my family history sort of... I never asked if my folks had a female name picked out. "Rachel" would have been nice, I guess. For some reason I like female biblical names. I like a number of Jewish female names to, one of my clients years ago was named Yael, for some reason I really liked that name. She was kind of cute too, and was laid back as a client, which was very nice.
It's an awkward combo, but i've had it for almost 2 decades now. If I ever did transition and officially change my name, I'd probably change the middle name.

SonjaThompson
05-16-2015, 05:36 AM
I chose the name Sonja as it is the name of one of my favourite characters in War and Peace, who is a gentle and delicate soul and generally has a pretty hard time of it all. Admittedly, it is not spelt the same (Sonya Rostova rather than Sonja), but I liked the more exotic spelling. In contrast to this, I chose the surname Thompson as it is a pretty generic British name, and suits the fact that I am in the closet to anyone who knows the male me (other than my wife).

Sonja

05-16-2015, 04:13 PM
I chose Simone Reese, because Simone sounds so matronly and Reese because I've always liked last names that were also male first names.

Sophie Hogletta
05-17-2015, 04:08 PM
Sophie for me. Always. No idea. Never knew a Sophie. Just like the name. I would love to be a Sophie. :) Female friends love it when I tell that that is my chosen name. They say well done. :battingeyelashes:

In 2006, I was Andrea. I have no idea why I chose that name, but it was spur of the moment as I needed something in order to build a Flickr account. Later, I changed my name to Alexandra, because I like it and suits me better. My faux middle and last names were picked with my original Andrea name. I happened to have a website up discussing Battlestar Galactica and an actress named Michelle Forbes. So I picked her name.

My name being Dallas is usable for either gender. But I hate it because of the sheer amount if Texas jokes (that isn't the point of this reply though).
So I've decided to change it to something sorta close: Danielle. My middle name was originally supposed to be James - so I'm using that again instead of my current one. Unsure about my last as of yet. Hoping one day I can legal change them to that though!

I have liked the name Laura for a long time. I used to dream that I would marry a girl named Laura (which did not happen.) I picked Carr for a last name based on a playboy bunny. Not sure why, I just liked that name. For all my life I have no question that Laura was my femme name. Not sure where I got the middle name, but it seemed to fit too.

Now if you want some odd stuff...
I am not sure if I really believe in reincarnation, but I have always felt that if I am reincarnated I must have been a woman in a former life as so many female things just feel right to me. I was dating a woman once who was Wicca and one night when she was almost asleep, almost in a trance like state, she called me "sweet Laura." She knew nothing of my other life (we were not dating that long.) I asked he about it and she just said it felt right. After that we made up the story that I was formerly a woman named Laura in the Civil War and she was my former boyfriend. It was very strange but fun while it lasted. So maybe there really was a woman named Laura that I an a reincarnation of.

I hope I wasn't over sharing there. ;)

Sincerely,
Laura Jean Carr

Long ago, my wife and I walked into a TG boutique for the first time. There was a group of girls conversing in the back of the store. On our entrance, the gg owner came up to us and asked me my name. I gave her my born male name.

She sighed, looked me in the eye and said "No, sweetie, what's your name?"

Put on the spot, I answered "Collette" and that was that. I really hadn't given my feminine name even the briefest of thought before that moment.

In retrospect, Collette happens to be the name of my second girlfriend from my youth, a girl of surpassing beauty and feminine grace.

I had never thought a female name was all that useful. After all, I'm not a female; I don't change who I am based on what I'm wearing. In the past year I've thought a bit differently, but I nothing ever seemed to "fit". I have only known one girl named Danica in my life aside from the racer. The name has nothing to do with either of them. I just think it's a lovely name. I settled on this name about six months ago or so.

My name is from one of the most gorgeous women I worked with and have met in my life, not just visually but also her personality. I knew I couldn't be with her but this is my way of remembering what a special lady she was.

That and she looked amazing in a short skirt and heels.

06-19-2015, 11:36 PM
I love my female name. Although, I have to be careful when ordering online that I don't have the shipping address reflect "Sandie." (lol) Sometimes packages get delivered to my apartment manager and I don't want to have to explain what a woman is doing in my place.

I chose Louise since my parents named me Louis. Easy as that :-)

06-29-2015, 01:46 PM
My name is Charlene Michaels. Always enjoyed the sound of it and any GG that had that name.
When the name "Charlie" became en vogue as a GG name i was in nirvana.

Easily i answer to someone calling "Char" as in "Charlie".
That's how i became Charlene. It was simple.
The last name is a homage to an old high school flame that was close to my size. :)

If we just met, it's "Charlene". If we are friends, It's "Char". If we are BFFs, its "Char-Char".

~Char

Teressa
06-30-2015, 11:11 AM
I chose Teressa because the GG Teressa is the most elegant LADY I know. I admire her as a strong woman who has overcome many trials in her life.

I'm a fan of the ABC show "Castle," and of Stana Katic. Just as Richard Castle decided to use Stana's character as the model for the heroine of his books, I decided to use her as a alter ego. Beautiful, independent, smart, and talented, traits I wish to portray en femme.

My flawless fashion sense, expert make up, and groovy dance skills, I'm sure she will learn from me! LOL!

melanie47
07-06-2015, 01:06 AM
I remember reading somewhere about requesting a credit card with just your first two initials. I had already done this so looked at the baby names that started with my initials. After writing down several combinations that I liked, I decided I feel like a Melanie Paige.

That being said, hello everyone, my name is Melanie. It's a pleasure to get to know everyone.

Michelle_Diane
07-07-2015, 02:39 PM
I tried Cindy for a while but it never sat well so I changed to Michelle and Diane comes from a long time friend who was so supportive we would go out together with me fully dressed. Also a few years ago my credit card just had the initial and last name on it. So i could sign the slip either Michelle or Mark.

Hi my name is Angela

I have never really thought about where it came from. I just really like this name. It just feels right. Maybe it's from the most beautiful women I've seen.... Agelina Jolie.

Jessica5536
07-10-2015, 11:34 PM
When I was younger I really liked the name Tiffany. Eventually I just started liking the name Jessica and self identified with that. No idea why on either name stuck.

Abby Kae
07-11-2015, 03:40 PM
I actually don't know my female name yet. I picked Abby Kae here because they're part of my long history of playing video games as female characters (AnnaBelle, typically, Kaelynai for fantasy games). I figured I'd try going by Abby here to see how it feels.

Catherine383
07-11-2015, 04:09 PM
I picked Catherine (aka Katy) because I think it fit me. For myself, it is all about feeling like "a Catherine or Katy or Cathy", and it just felt right. I knew a GG named Cathy in college who became my best friend, and was the first person besides myself that I confided in about my crossdressing, bisexuality, and desire (at least then) of having sex reassignment surgery. Cathy had a number of homosexual and bisexual male friends, and was always looking out for us as well as being a shoulder during those difficult times in the early 1990s for gay and bisexual men. I lost touch with Cathy many years ago, so I think I picked the name to honor her memory.

JuliaDream
07-15-2015, 12:59 PM
I chose Julia from The Beatles song of the same name. Someone asked what my second name was and out came what should have been obvious to me, Dream, as in the Pink Floyd song. I do like it when people get it wrong and call me Julie, it's kind of cute.

Chantel Lacey

StefaniLara
07-16-2015, 11:51 PM
When I first started realizing who I was, I was a fan of a Tejano singer named Stefani, and I loved the name and the spelling, so I took it. I'm not sure how I came up with my last name.

Belle Cri
07-18-2015, 11:45 AM
Hmm, well, believe it or not, one of those silly Facebook things of "your name means X" in French. It looked over my profile, and no matter how I spelled my name, it came back "Belle." My SO leaned over, looked at it, laughed uproariously and said "Oh Honey, that is so YOU." Well, that stuck. The second or 'last'? I'm actually from a romance linguistics background so Cri is a an appropriately thematic French variation on my family name which for now I want to keep as a nome de plume.

Lilblondecutie1407
07-21-2015, 02:56 AM
I wanted a first name that had hearts on the letter I but also one that was short and cute so to speak. So I settled on Nikki as for my last name it was the brand (Garrison) of lock on the padlocks to my girls clothes bins. My middle name was one that I thought fit those two, so I went with Ray.

Danika Jane McKenzie
07-21-2015, 10:50 PM
I use Danika because of a girl I used to work with, she was gorgeous & it's such a sexy name. Jane because I've always thought that was a cute and McKenzie because it's my real last name & I love it! Danika Jane McKenzie:<3:

CD Katy
07-22-2015, 04:41 AM
My mother kept telling me that if I was a girl that my name would have been Katherine, so Katy or Katie seemed to fit perfectly and I like it.

KayMcLaughlin
07-26-2015, 07:52 PM
Kay, for me, was the name I picked to use as a pen name for writing romances. It's since become something more than that. What, I don't know yet. :)

EmmaNicole
07-27-2015, 07:12 PM
Emma Nicole was my name had I turned out to be biologically female. I never thought twice about giving myself a different name. I'm glad my mom picked something I'd end up really liking and actually using later in life.

Sissy donna
07-27-2015, 09:10 PM
My wife chose my name. As well as the clothing I wear other than work clothes.

SummerJ
07-28-2015, 05:49 PM
(I've been away for a couple years, so I think the last post I made about my name in gone forever in the ether somewhere)

I named myself after Summer Glau. At the time, I was in love with Firefly/Serenity (still one of my favorite movies). River Tam was always my favorite character, but "River" didn't quite work for me. At one point my friend commented that she loved the name Summer and it stuck.

CharlotteKristen
07-29-2015, 04:06 PM
I kept it simple and turned my male name into the female equivalent . My mom was going to to name me Caitlyn and my first real girl friend who liked me to dress was named Katie so I did not want to use either one of those :)

HollyGreene
07-29-2015, 04:42 PM
Years ago, I used the name Caroline McFarlaine, which were names I just picked out of the blue. Then I met a gorgeous woman who's real name was Caroline McFarlaine, and it suddenly seemed a bit weird. So I changed it.

I now use Holly Greene. It started as a bit of a joke really - Holly Theresa Greene (Holly trees are green). But I've always loved the name Holly, so I stuck with it.

fiona frisson
07-31-2015, 12:24 AM
Im a bit of a chameleon have changed my name a few times was debbie first ..avoided familial connects and preserving my anonymity ... Choose Fiona Frisson because of the playful litteration ..Fiona is irish and Frisson gives an exotique feel and in truth foes reflect that feeling when comfortably en femme ... a bit like a new haur style I might adopt another persona/name!

renasexycd
07-31-2015, 02:44 PM
I am Rena Fox. Cos I am like a Fox ;)

Nolacdflorida
08-02-2015, 11:15 AM
I chose Nola because it was close to my male name and I just like the way it sounds. No it has no relationship to New Orleans, LOL.

Chrissy1966
08-03-2015, 05:13 PM
Back in the days of those awful 1-900 chat lines, I would use "Chris" as my fake name. When things progressed into more and more dressing, Chris became Chrissy

Casey Actual
08-03-2015, 06:08 PM
My original name back in the day was Cindy Pink, I wanted a name that could in no way be a guys name or a name that even had a male translation to it. I looked up girly names on google and came across Cindy and decided to add the 'Pink' at the end to make it even for Girly. Eventually years later when I realized I wasn't transgender but an entire different breed, that breed being Gender fluid. I came up with "Casey Actual" or just "Casey" for short, a name that could be either for a girl or a boy. So it fit me perfectly. The full name is "Casey The Never Actual" the "never actual" part means I'm never actually a boy or girl.
So come follow me into the Never~

jessica_brink
08-06-2015, 07:50 AM
Mine is Jessica Brink. The Jessica just came natural, it's just such a feminine name. The Brink came from Maria Brink, the beautiful singer for In This Moment. She used to wear these really cute dresses like this one: http://www.metal-experience.com/images/interviews/In%20This%20Moment/inthismoment2008-02.jpg AND she has huge boobs ;)

Stephanie De Vil
08-10-2015, 02:44 AM
I chose my name. Stephanie K De Vil (K is for Katherine) I'm a queen and stephanie is always on the top 5 women's psycho names. Lol I have friends that only know me as Stephanie. Whether I'm dressed or not lol. And De Vil simply because I live cruella. Best. Disney. Villian. Ever.

Much love, Stephanie

Amanda James
08-11-2015, 02:50 PM
A man da when I picked Amanda I thought I was the only one that saw that  and the James came about by trial and error trying to get a gmail account . Amanda James was free so I took it . But you can call me Mandy

shining-sera
08-11-2015, 11:38 PM
I came up with a full name for my female identity.

Sera comes from one of my closest friends in high school (named Serah), and the first person i told about my crossdressing habit. She actually chose my middle female name, Melanie, which I liked as well, but I couldn't choose between the two. So i took both! I also write alot, hence the last name Wright. I go by either name now.

The username comes from an in-joke we all had in theatre class. I was rather shy when I began, so they told me to be more bold, or "shine like the star you are". I got a lot of confidence from those 4 years in theatre, and now I use that confidence here as well, hence "Shining Sera".

08-13-2015, 02:15 AM
I would choose the most beautiful & sexy female name.....Natalie:battingeyelashes:

Fi-Fi LeFemme
08-13-2015, 02:37 AM
My name came about as a play on masculine and feminine words in French. "Le" being masculine and "femme" being feminine. It is an attempt to combine different aspects of myself. My first name; Fi-Fi comes from the fact that it is very feminine and a bit silly-like me. X

TrishaLake
08-14-2015, 08:43 PM
I am waiting for my so and I to talk about this but I would prefer Aria

Lily Catherine
08-16-2015, 07:25 AM
I eventually decided on Lilian as my English alias a while ago, after 2 different people (one fictional and the other real). Long story cut short, my colleagues and I have drawn a parallel between the fictional character and myself.

As far as Chinese names go, my (Chinese) female name has the exact same pronunciation as my Chinese birth name, but are different in writing - the latter translates to 'far-sighted' and the former 'gentle and petite'.

As a woman, I like to be called Pâmela Ortega.

Actually, I'm new at this forum. Nice to meet you all girls.

Lizzy Straite
08-18-2015, 10:26 AM
Started out looking at popular names on the internet and decided on Lizzy.

Sandra119
08-21-2015, 07:04 AM
My mother once said to me if I had been born a girl I would have been called Sandra so when I started crossdressing I called myself Sandra I just love the name

SexyMarianne
08-21-2015, 09:08 PM
I chose Marianne because when I first crossdressed I tried to model myself after an attractive feminine woman I knew named Marianne

JeanW
08-23-2015, 05:48 AM
I took the name Jean because its the feminine version of my given name

Cynthiasfcd
08-25-2015, 07:04 PM
I chose Cynthia because it is the name of a family friend. It was the first name to come to mind.

Clair Divine
08-26-2015, 01:27 AM
I've always loved the name Claire. I'm a very spiritual person and I wanted to play on words a little. I wanted my initials to mirror Crossdressing plus have a spiritual connection. So I decided on Clair Divine. I removed the "e" at the end of Claire to keep my roots. As an Aquarian, I'm also an "air" sign. I wanted to be "clear" about the energy on my chosen name. Many meanings for me.

holi
08-28-2015, 04:38 PM
Mine is part of my surname. And was originally intended as a pen name.

Melanie 0339
08-29-2015, 06:55 PM
I chose Melanie, it's hard to explain but it just feels so feminine to me.

theresa renee
08-30-2015, 03:43 PM
i chose "theresa" after my first friend. i was about four years old, and she was five... we would have sleep-overs because she had lots of animals and video games and at that age, it's all about the innocent things.

"renee" is the name of the very first woman with whom i had sex. we were nineteen, freshmen at college, and she was wild, you know? she was crazy, a party girl, had loads of experience and taught me so much...

strange - i don't think i'd considered the dichotomy until now: the innocent and the tainted, the angel and the devil, the sacred and the profane. wow, i chose well!

i just can't decide if i want to go by "theresa", "theresa-renee", or maybe just... "TR". maybe i don't have to decide yet.

pony_gurl
08-31-2015, 12:35 PM
I'm yet to settle on a name. I use 'Pony' on forums due to my love of ponytails.

Sometimes gone by 'Ashley' when in girl mode.

I prefer 'Pony' but not sure if anyone else would use it :thumbsdn:

Misty Rae Pleasure
09-03-2015, 12:09 AM
I so love the name Pony. Hey if Madonna only needs one name then why not you. My girl mode name is Misty Rae Pleasure, but like to use my aka " Lady Pleasure ". It seems so naughty.

Well, i've been lurking on this forum as a guest since about May/June or so.
Reading some of the threads have been amusing, heartbreaking, interesting, educational and a host of other adjectives. But this one... choosing your girl name, has been fascinating to me. Not sure why... maybe because on this thread members embrace their duality and affirm it by actually giving a name to their female half.

As I visited here over the weeks I began to wonder what name I would choose if I decided to.
Cool how WE get to CHOOSE the name for our feminine identity, don't you think?

So I am Hispanic. My ancestors come from Spain and through a little research about the history of Spain I have discovered it has undergone quite a bit of influence from several different cultures going way, way back but most recently from Islam and to some degree Judaism.

I consider myself a rather spiritual person and in choosing a name wanted to give a nod to the influences of my current incarnation on our planet. I am not Muslim or Jew or Christian for that matter but I do love the sound of the Hebrew language and of some of Arabic words.

So I settled on a name!!! :)
My feminine side will go by Sayyidah (in Arabic means 'lady') K. (for Khimar which means 'covered' or 'veiled') Neshama (a Hebrew endearment which means 'soul' or 'spirit')

My wife occasionally calls me Neshama (not because she knows about my CDing although she does buy me cotton boy shorts) but because it's an endearment.

So you can call me Sayyidah or Neshama or... aBoyNamedSue.
Or I guess Sue could be a nickname for Sayyidah.
XOXO Muah!

We had a long discussion on this. My choice was not one she cared for. I have not asked what i would have been named if iwas to been born a gg.
So, in our first meeting and outing kn the local girls night out group, the gg's had discussed and taken a liking to Kandi. Here i added the a at the end since all the names were used. So now several months later i go by kandi in fem mode, Kandia in the forum.

Jaime Noel
09-08-2015, 09:20 PM
I chose Jaime Noel. I am always liked the way that Jaime can go either way... it is neutral, to me at least. Noel was the name that my mother was going to name her child if I had been a GF.

Chloe1955

My Grandmother used to call me her Nancyboy and it was out of affection, not being sarcastic or mean. I also had a Great Aunt named Nancy Ann , my Grandmother's sister, so out of affection for them both, I chose Nancy as my name. My Grandmother, my Mom my Aunt and my sister liked it and now I am Nancy.

My given male name is James nickname Jamie. While in school was merciless teased and called a sissy because I never had any good male friends my best friends thru elements and Jr high where a Karen, susy and Myrn, we allways walked home from school together then one day some bully said Jamie isn't a guy he's really a TAMMIE in boys clothes. So one day after school my friends Karen and Susan said their parents where having a Halloween party from 6pm to 8pm b4 trick or treating the neighborhood so why don't I dress up as Ballerina with them as they both took after school ballet class 1nce per week, so they had extra tights, leotards tutus etc. So just after school, went to Karen's house and Karen's mom made-up my face and put on me one of her small wigs then went to Susan's house 4 the party. Had a fun time. So my 3 friends start calling me "Tammie" aka TJ. During the party Karen, parents and Susan's said I looked so cute I should have been a girl.

So that's my first experience xding. The name stuck.
